A Hungry Bear.

Turning on the television for the first time in a long time. I was met with today’s news story...

In Yamanashi prefecture, a hungry bear eats expensive grapes. The police are on the lookout for a 1m tall, dark-hairy perpetrator, who ate his way through ¥1,000,000 ($10,000) worth of muscat grapes in a matter of seconds.

Wondering if a young bear has that sort of money handy, I proceeded to turn off the TV. It reminded me of another headline I watched the last time a television was turned on...

In Hokkaido prefecture, a farmer found a potato bearing a resemblance to Mickey Mouse. The farmer was reported to be in two minds, should he eat it or give it to his granddaughter?

Wish you were here.
